This stuff is deadly! I used it in my Mayhem 4.5mm co2 pistol for target practice and back yard pest control. It works in the magazines made for bb's. It is decently accurate in a smoothbore air gun. It should preform better in a rifle barrel. I bought all I could as it is not very common to find on the shelf. It penetrates well and expands. I have not tried these lead balls in a high powered rifle such as a RWS but I would figure they will work but a standard pellet will preform best.

Good Pellet
This pellet worked well with the Benjamin 392. The only negative is that it was hard to load because of the flat head. I had to wiggle it around in order for it to load. But once loaded; it flies true!! A very good pellet. The free shipping is a plus since other online sellers want to charge over $5 just to ship one can to Hawaii.

Great accracy for shooting squirrels

These .22 cal pba pellets sound impressive (almost like a .22 rimfire) but they are too light for my liking. Long range (50 yds) accuracy suffers, and $10 for 50 pellets is insane, gold plating or no. I will stick with the heavier, quieter, and more accurate H&N Sport pellets...at $8 for 200.

Good Air Gun ammo for varmints!
These little air gun shot shells are great for varmints. Since I received the Gamo Shadow Express Air Gun that fires these I've gotten 6-7 chipmonks (which ARE pests in my area) 1 pack rat and a squirrel. It's much more accurate for my old eyes than the .22 or .177 pellets I've used in the past.

Now if I can figure out how to reload these....

Since I had the scale out, I weighed some pellets individually. My results were:

7.5 grains: 1
7.6 grains: 8
7.7 grains: 42
7.8 grains: 94
7.9 grains: 53
8.0 grains: 7
8.1 grains: 1

I was a little disappointed with this spread of weights. I expected better from "Match" quality ammo. I weighed two other brands of ordinary pellets, and they varied about the same amount. For comparison I weighed a dozen .30 caliber Sierra MatchKing 168 grain rifle bullets. They deviated less than the pellets, which for the bullet's heavier weight is a much smaller percentage variation.

very innacurate
I used these pellets in a gamo 1200 big cat. They were extremely inaccurate. Before, I was using crosman match grade lead pellets and I was consistently hitting half dollar sized targets at over 10 yards. With these pellets, I missed the target every time. If you want the higher velocity pellets, get the regular pba raptor pellets. Although those still are not as accurate as match grade lead pellets, they are a lot more accurate than these pba armor pellets. I would definitely not recommend these over-priced inaccurate pellets.

Using them to shoot squirels (tree rats). Did not get in-out penetration. Tips rounded, not pointed. Higher velocity, but I seriously doubt anywhere near 25% they claim. Don't know if they're worth the extra cost for short range (about 50 feet or less). Better than Gamo magnum, but not much at the range I'm shooting.

I have just purchased the PBA Gold pellets for my Crosman Nightstalker but I have found the quality of the manufacturing of the pellets are horrible. What I mean by this is I usually end up throwing away between 15 and 20 pellets per 100 package because of screwed up pellet shapes and. Most will be ok but I find a lot of the pellets are deformed and will not fit in my gun because of enlarged pellet skirts. Personally I will not be purchasing these pellets ever again. But if you enjoy spending $10 for pellets and throwing away 20% of them, then these should suit you!

A very great performance ballistic alloy pellet with a straight and lethal combination which makes it deadly to whatever you shoot it at. A very powerful pellet which needs to be carefully handled by adults or at least under adult supervision. Beware the cost of shipping this item to you as it is heavy, but there is only a small tin of it. Good for small varmint hunting. With the use of a good scope the sky's the limit.
