Well, after doing a lot of research and checking out the testimonials below and somewhere else, I chose to purchase GAMO Big Cat 1200 w/4x32 Scope Pellet Gun. Though I 'd have preferred a much better warranty, I decided the functions were attractive enough to try it. It is a lot of money to discard if it falls short just after the warranty. I am totally in love with this item. It is high quality product, smart attributes. I simply got it today, and I will update my review later on if required.

I got this pellet rifle to shoot targets in the backyard, and not have the police send out the SWAT Team. I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised with the GAMO Big Cat 1200. The last time I enjoyed shooting this much was as an Army Sniper, almost a decade ago. I set up a 50 foot range and went about what I thought would be an impossible task of zeroing the thing. To my very big surprise, my third 3-round shot group, was dead center with all 3 holes connected. Being a light weight pellet, I expected the shots to "wonder" all over the target at that distance.
I read all of the reviews and read the bad reviews twice. I really think, those giving the bad reviews had defective rifles. I have bought products with great reviews, but mine turned out to be a lemon. I would return it and get another one.
My only problem now is how to tell the lady who lives with me about my new hobby? She would not approve. She tells me, she is my wife and has...
