Well, after doing a bunch of research and reviewing the reviews below and somewhere else, I decided to purchase GAMO Deluxe 1 Inch Scope Rings, Extra High, Fits Standard Dovetail. Though I 'd have preferred a better guarantee, I decided the attributes were attractive enough to try it. It is a great deal of cash to throw away if it fails just after the guarantee. I am absolutely in love with this item. It is high quality product, wise features. I simply got it today, and I will update my testimonial later on if needed.
Great for mosin nagant.
These are fantastic of you plan to mount them on a mosin nagant with an extended eye relief scope. I removed the rear sight from my 91/30 and mounted these on the 3/8ths dove tail. After 1940, the russians started to use solder beneath the rear sight of the 91/30 rifles, so if you plan to use these to mount a scope on yours, be prepared to have to heat the rear sight. I used a 15 dollar little propane torch you get from lowes and it worked just fine. If this is your first time doing this, make sure you watch some videos on youtube before you get to torching your rifle.
these rings hold just fine with a little loctite. great product

I think these rings are very nice. They seem to be good quality and grip the gun good. You really can't see through them good enough to use iron sights though.
